I joined Franklin School for the Performing Arts at the age of 14, slightly nervous and unsure about what it was going to be like. In the years preceding my start at FSPA, my mother suggested I sign up for classes. I was apprehensive to join, but at the same time I felt excited to start. My freshman year I put my doubts aside and signed up for FSPA. I started my first class and instantly loved it. I was hooked; I knew I wanted to continue to take more classes. When I was turning 17, I was interested in trying out for the Performing Troupes. I was happily accepted to Broadway Bound, and from then on I really stepped up my game. I strived to become one of the energetic and vigorous performers that I looked up to; those were Electric Youth performers. I knew hard work was ahead of me if I wanted to accomplish my future goal. I was on my way to reaching my desire in becoming an Electric Youth performer. I have been at FSPA for four years and it has been the best four years of my life.

I first knew I wanted to become a member of Electric Youth when I saw them perform at their Bon Voyage concert leading up to their 2008 European tour. I immediately fell in love with the group and was completely amazed with the talent I saw. I am so excited for our upcoming tour. I can’t wait to see all the sights and people, but I’m most excited to perform in the shows. I’m not too nervous for the trip, but I am bit anxious about retaining all the choreography and making everything as perfect as it can be. Being in Electric Youth has helped me decide that I want continue by passion for musical theatre in college.
